At times the ears must be watered with the unsavory wreckage of sounds that might have once been collected into a melody. Today they pile themselves like jumbled assertions.

There is a sad and common occurrence of deaths along the water canals throughout Phoenix and Scottsdale neighborhoods in Arizona. Year over year, dead people are pulled from the aqueduct by clean up crews; after the fact.
This happens so regularly that I find it troubling.
To understand it better I looked at the tragedy from the point of view of an indifferent observer. Someone who sees the carnage and kind of just keeps walking.
We jumped into an attitude and started jamming freestyle. The drums always get us going, Alec has a great sense for the percussive spark inside a jam session. As we pushed, the guitar was leading well, off to somewhere unknowable, but we were all in.
Then the jam needed a key change to keep things interesting. That's when Joe, who plays bass guitar very intuitively, finds a new playground for us.
I follow him as the song opens up, and we twang our way into Audio Crime history.
